From Basel to the City by the bay
I grew up in Basel, Switzerland, where my early career in banking established a foundation in financial discipline, governance, and execution rigor - complemented by leadership, accountability, and trust developed through service as a Swiss military officer. My career later brought me to San Francisco, where I contributed to the early evolution of digital commerce and go-to-market technologies during Silicon Valley’s formative growth years.
Since then, I’ve led global operating and technology transformations across enterprise and high-growth environments, helping organizations modernize how they build, sell, and scale. Working across regions and cultures has shaped a pragmatic, globally informed approach to leadership and execution in complex, fast-moving markets.
Bridging What Matters: Strategy, People & Technology
Across my career, spanning startups to Fortune 500 enterprises, I’ve partnered with executive teams to align strategy with execution through disciplined operating models. My focus is connecting people, process, and technology to deliver predictable outcomes at scale.
Today, that work increasingly involves embedding AI into execution - not as experimentation, but as a practical lever to improve decision quality, adoption, and performance. I believe durable transformation comes from strong governance, clear operating cadence, and teams equipped to execute effectively in an AI-augmented environment.
BEYOND WORK
Outside of work, I serve as president of the Golden Gate Swiss Club and remain actively engaged in community leadership. I value continuous learning and maintain a strong curiosity about how technology shapes organizations, society, and the future of work. I apply that curiosity hands-on - using AI, automation, and digital tools to improve execution, decision-making, and focus, including in community leadership roles where scale and resources are constrained.
When I’m not building or writing, I enjoy staying active outdoors and maintaining balance at home with my wife - including the ongoing negotiation of peaceful coexistence between our German Shepherd and Maine Coon cat.
